Remembering Charlie Sumara, born this day in 1917, son of Frank Sumara and Tillie Lazars of Springhill. This photo is of Charlie in front of a machine he created at the Oxford Foundry. EDIT: Found the Oxford Journal article that went with the photo: "Thursday, September 9, 1965. Oxford Foundry and Machine Co. Ltd. is producing a new edger which will cut down manual operations and make possible increased production. The edger has been designed and assembled by Charles SUMARA, Ira RHINDRESS and Delbert SMITH."
